“Cold plating” means “electroplating”, that is, the zinc salt solution is electrolyzed to coat the plated parts. Generally, there is no heating. The amount of zinc is very small, and it is easy to fall off when it is wet. Cold galvanizing, also called electro galvanizing, is the use of electrolytic equipment to degrease and pickle the workpiece into a solution containing a zinc salt and connect the negative electrode of the electrolytic equipment; a zinc plate is placed on the opposite side of the workpiece to connect the electrolytic equipment. The positive electrode is
connected to the power supply, and the directional movement of the positive electrode to the negative electrode by the current will deposit a layer of zinc on the workpiece.
