The advantages of hot dip galvanized

Hot-dip galvanized is also called hot-dip galvanizing. It melts the zinc ingot at high temperature, puts some auxiliary materials, and then immerses the metal structure in the galvanizing bath, so that a zinc layer is attached to the metal member. The advantages of hot-dip galvanizing are its strong anti-corrosion ability, good adhesion and hardness of the galvanized layer , hot-dip galvanizing has very uniform coating, strong adhesion, and long service life.

“Cold plating” means “electroplating”, that is, the zinc salt solution is electrolyzed to coat the plated parts. Generally, there is no heating. The amount of zinc is very small, and it is easy to fall off when it is wet. Cold galvanizing, also called electro galvanizing, is the use of electrolytic equipment to degrease and pickle the workpiece into a solution containing a zinc salt and connect the negative electrode of the electrolytic equipment; a zinc plate is placed on the opposite side of the workpiece to connect the electrolytic equipment. The positive electrode is
connected to the power supply, and the directional movement of the positive electrode to the negative electrode by the current will deposit a layer of zinc on the workpiece.

The main role is to prevent corrosion. For example, general steels must rust when they are left. The surface is oxidized when rusted. The original volume of the steel is reduced, and the strength of the steel is weakened. It will rust or resist rust for a long time, and the strength of the steel will not be weakened.
