Qc Marine pipeline products for Singapore customers

At the beginning of this year, a shipyard in Singapore ordered a batch of products for marine pipelines in Haihao, including flanges, steel pipes, elbows, tees, pipe caps, steel plates and prefabricated parts. At present, nine batches of products have been shipped to Singapore. Today, the tenth batch of products has been completed. According to the customer’s requirements, this batch of products will be subject to HIC inspection.

HIC inspection

Hydrogen induced cracking refers to that the metal material is in a hydrogen containing medium (such as hydrogen sulfide aqueous solution), and the hydrogen released in the electrochemical corrosion process enters into the metal material to produce step type cracks. The growth and development of these cracks will eventually cause the metal material (oil pipeline) to crack. HIC inspection can simulate similar environment to inspect the performance of products in hydrogen containing medium.
