Haihao Group takes samples from ASTM A350 LF2 flanges and process test

Haihao Group received a forged flange project in recent,these flanges will be used in low temperature environment.The material is ASTM A350 LF2.In order to guarantee the flange could also keep good mechanical property,our laboratory will takes samples from flanges and process test.

Our QC selects samples during production by random.The date is different as production goes.

Cut specimens from ASTM A350 LF2 flange blank in Haihao Group

Our QC will cut specimens from flanges and takes them to laboratory.Our laboratory performs mechanical property testing,which includes tensile strength test,yield strength test,elongation,hardness,low-temperature impact test.

This test is different from raw material test.Our flange is forged,forging and heat treatment could improve the property of material. This test could check the flange quality regularly.In addition,the test cost is different.The specimens are taken from forged flanges, after the flanges are cut,its destructive test, and flanges are waste.

If we test raw material,the sample is taken from steel bar or plate,it will not affect the use of material.
