Haihao Group successfully completes production and quality inspection for large caliber pipe fittings

Haihao Group is pleased to announce the successful production and quality inspection of a recent order from our esteemed Russian client. The order includes the following large caliber pipe fittings:

90-degree elbow LR 32 IN x S-30 ASTM A403 Gr.WP304/304L ASME B16.9

Reducer tee 6 IN x S-10S / 4 IN x S-10S ASTM A403 Gr.WP304/304L ASME B16.9

These fittings, designed to meet the highest industry standards, have undergone meticulous manufacturing processes, including a final touch of black paint on the product surfaces. Following production, our dedicated quality inspection team at Haihao Group conducted a thorough assessment, employing various inspection methods to ensure the products meet the stringent requirements.

Quality inspection for large caliber pipe fittings

Dimensional Inspection: Before commencing the inspection, our inspectors diligently verified the calibration status of all measuring tools, ensuring they were within the valid date and met acceptable standards. The dimensional inspection covered crucial aspects such as outer diameter (OD), wall thickness, bevel angle, and more. The inspection was performed on 10% of each item listed in the order sheet. The results were found to be acceptable, aligning with the criteria set by ASME B16.9, ASME B36.10, and ASME B36.19, among others.

PMI Inspection: Prior to the PMI (Positive Material Identification) inspection, our inspectors confirmed the calibration status of the testing devices, ensuring they were within the valid date and met acceptable standards. The PMI inspection specifically targeted stainless steel fittings, assessing 10% of each item in the order. The content of the main alloy elements, namely Cr (Chromium) and Ni (Nickel), met the stringent requirements of ASTM A403 WP304/304L. The overall test results were deemed acceptable, demonstrating the high-quality standards maintained by Haihao Group.
