Haihao Group Ships 3/4″ Class 6000 Socket Weld Elbows to Singapore

Haihao Group has recently completed the production and shipment of 3/4″ Class 6000 socket weld 90° elbows for a customer in Singapore. The fittings are manufactured from ASTM A350 LF2 Class 1 material and produced in accordance with ASME B16.11, with rust-preventive oil applied for protection during storage and transportation.

Although small in size, these forged fittings are specified for piping systems where connection reliability, dimensional accuracy, and material performance are important.

Order Details

The Singapore order covers the following product:

Product Size Class Material Standard Surface Protection
90° Socket Weld Elbow 3/4″ 6000 ASTM A350 LF2 Class 1 ASME B16.11 Rust-Preventive Oil

Designed for Compact, High-Pressure Connections

A 3/4″ Class 6000 socket weld elbow is a compact forged fitting used to change the direction of a small-bore piping run by 90 degrees. The socket-weld connection allows the pipe to be inserted into the fitting socket before welding, making it suitable for piping layouts where a compact and robust connection is required.

ASME B16.11 covers forged socket-welding and threaded fittings, including dimensional requirements, ratings, tolerances, marking, and material-related requirements. For socket-weld fittings, Class 6000 is one of the pressure-class designations covered by the standard.

For this order, the ASTM A350 LF2 Class 1 material provides a suitable material option for applications where low-temperature toughness is an important consideration. The material selection is therefore not simply a matter of fitting size; it needs to match the service conditions and project specification.

ASTM A350 LF2 Class 1 Material

Material control is particularly important for forged fittings used in demanding piping systems.

ASTM A350 LF2 is commonly selected for pressure-containing components requiring improved toughness at low temperatures. The Class 1 designation identifies a specific grade within the LF2 material specification and must be verified against the applicable project requirements, including chemical composition, mechanical properties, heat treatment, and testing requirements.

For the Singapore shipment, Haihao Group manufactured the fittings according to the specified ASTM A350 LF2 Class 1 material requirement and ASME B16.11 dimensional and manufacturing requirements.

Production and Protection Before Shipment

For forged fittings, dimensional consistency is important because the socket geometry directly affects fit-up and welding during installation. Haihao Group pays attention to socket dimensions, overall geometry, end preparation, marking, and visual condition during production and inspection.

After inspection, rust-preventive oil was applied to the fittings specified in this order. This provides temporary protection against corrosion during handling, storage, and international transportation.

The final products were packed and prepared for shipment to Singapore according to the customer’s requirements.

Haihao Group’s Small-Bore Forged Fitting Supply

This order demonstrates Haihao Group’s ability to supply small-bore forged fittings with specific combinations of size, pressure class, material, and manufacturing standard.

In addition to socket weld elbows, Haihao Group supplies forged elbows, tees, couplings, caps, branch fittings, and other piping components in carbon steel, low-temperature carbon steel, stainless steel, and alloy steel grades.

For projects requiring ASTM A350 LF2 Class 1 fittings, ASME B16.11 products, or customized small-bore piping components, our engineering and sales teams can review the required size, class, material, testing, coating, and documentation before quotation.
