This batch of ASTM B444 UNS N06625 pipe spool is extruded from seamless nickel alloy tubing conforming to ASTM B444 Grade 1, equivalent to Inconel 625. Dimensions follow ASME B36.19, the dimensional standard for stainless and nickel alloy pipe. The order covers seven nominal sizes from 3 inch through 14 inch, each cut to a short fixed length of either 100 mm or 150 mm. A notable feature is the dual wall schedule on each spool – for example, S100 outer end paired with S30S inner end, or S80 matched with S20S – designed to connect pipe sections of different wall thicknesses without adding a separate transition fitting.
Every ASTM B444 UNS N06625 pipe spool in this order undergoes 100% ultrasonic testing across the full length of the tube wall. Ultrasonic scanning detects internal laminations, inclusions and wall thickness deviations that visual inspection alone cannot catch. In addition, 100% liquid penetrant examination is performed on both end surfaces and any machined areas to reveal surface-breaking cracks or forging defects. Full dimensional records, including outer diameter, wall thickness at both ends and finished length, are documented for direct comparison against the client’s drawing.
The complete NDT package – ultrasonic test report and penetrant test report – accompanies each ASTM B444 UNS N06625 pipe spool in the shipment. Material mill certificates trace the chemical composition and mechanical properties of the UNS N06625 Gr.1 tubing back to the heat of origin. Plastic end protectors are fitted on both pipe ends, and the entire consignment is packed in solid wooden crates to safeguard the machined end preparations during ocean freight to Singapore.
