What material is ASTM A-403 Gr. WP347H?
An Australian customer sent us an inquiry,he needed an elbow made of ASTM a-403 GR WP 347H. What is ASTM A-403 GR WP 347H? How is it different from the common carbon steel material?Let me briefly introduce this material.
TP347H (1cr19ni11nb) is a high carbon Nb containing Cr Ni austenitic stainless steel. Due to its stable element Nb, TP347H (1cr19ni11nb) has good resistance to intergranular corrosion and polysulphate intergranular stress corrosion. Its corrosion resistance in acid, alkali, salt and other corrosive media is similar to that of Ti containing 18-8 austenitic stainless steel. Therefore, TP347H (1cr19ni11nb) is widely used in boiler, power generation, petroleum, chemical industry, synthetic fiber, food, papermaking and other industries. It is used in large boiler superheater pipe, reheater pipe, steam pipe and petrochemical heat exchanger.

Application of ASTM A-403 Gr. WP347H material:
It is used in large boiler superheater pipe, reheater pipe, steam pipe and petrochemical heat exchanger. The allowable anti-oxidation temperature for boiler pipe is 750 ℃.
