What are lateral tee and lateral cross?

Lateral tee and lateral cross are terms in drainage pipeline, and refers to a pipeline component.Lateral tee refers to the angle between two intersecting pipes with acute angle, which is relative to the straight tee. The lateral tee is divided into 90 degree lateral tee and 45 degree lateral tee according to the final flow direction. The schematic diagram of downstream tee, 90 degree lateral tee and 45 degree lateral tee is as follows:

Lateral four-way pipe is a branch pipe with lateral branches in two directions of the main pipe, that is, one more branch pipe than lateral three-way pipe. As shown in the example above, in the latter two figures, if there is also a pipe symmetrically on the left side of the main pipe in each figure, it is called 90 degree lateral cross and 45 degree lateral cross respectively.
