Haihao Group conducts rigorous quality control on elbows for Belarusian client

As part of our commitment to excellence, we carried out comprehensive quality control checks, including visual inspections, thickness measurements, and chemical composition testing.

Quality Control Process: Ensuring Precision and Reliability

Visual and Dimensional Inspection:

Our skilled quality control team conducted detailed visual inspections to ensure that the external appearance of each elbow met the highest standards. This includes checking for any surface defects, cracks, or imperfections that could affect the performance or aesthetics of the fittings.

Dimensional checks were also performed to ensure that the elbows adhered to the precise specifications outlined in ASME B16.9, guaranteeing compatibility with the client’s piping system.

Wall Thickness Testing:

Wall thickness plays a crucial role in the strength and durability of pipe fittings. To verify that each elbow met the required thickness, thickness testing was carried out across multiple points of each fitting. This ensures that the elbows can withstand the operating pressures and temperatures they are designed for, without the risk of failure.

Chemical Composition Testing:

The ASTM A403 GR WP347-S material used for these elbows has specific chemical requirements for corrosion resistance and high-temperature strength. To ensure compliance with industry standards and the material’s specification, we conducted chemical composition analysis.

The test results confirmed that the material adhered to the required levels of chromium, nickel, and niobium, ensuring optimal performance in harsh environments.
