ASTM B366 WPNCMC Alloy 625 Fittings Shipped to UAE for NACE Sour Service
Haihao Group has completed shipment of seamless butt-weld nickel alloy fittings for an oil and gas project in the UAE. This batch of ASTM B366 WPNCMC Alloy 625 fittings includes LR 90° elbows and equal tees, sized 1/2 inch SCH80S and manufactured to ASME B16.9.
The ASTM B366 WPNCMC Alloy 625 fittings are specified as GR-2 grade, qualified for NACE sour service environments. This project calls for a strict inspection package beyond standard material checks: chemical composition, hardness testing and intergranular corrosion examination are all mandatory for each production lot.

IGC validation follows ASTM G28 Method A, the same test protocol widely used for CRA material qualification. The test runs at 120°C for a total of 120 hours. After exposure, samples are examined under 50× magnification to confirm no preferential grain boundary attack. The maximum acceptable weight loss is capped at 36 mpy, equal to 0.914 mm per year. A separate GR-1 test coupon (34 80S) is supplied alongside the fittings for independent third-party verification.
Every ASTM B366 WPNCMC Alloy 625 fitting is marked clearly for traceability. Full test documentation, material certificates and corrosion test reports are compiled and delivered together, ready for the client’s third-party witness review. For sour gas projects across the Gulf region, reliable IGC performance is a critical gate before fittings can be installed.
Many EPC teams struggle to source small-bore nickel alloy fittings that consistently pass ASTM G28-A testing. We coordinate our testing lab early in production to lock in acceptance criteria and avoid delays. If you need seamless Alloy 625 elbows, tees or other butt-weld fittings with custom NACE and IGC requirements, send your datasheet to our engineering team for a formal quotation.
